About Lamine

Amadou Lamine Touré comes from a long line of griots, a caste of musicians and oral historians among the Wolof people of Senegal. Lamine now lives, teaches, and performs in the Boston, Massachusetts area. Here, you can learn about Lamine's dance and drum classes, his history, and his hot Afro-pop/mbalax band Group Saloum.
